Description

Upcom • Cable Fleeter • Cable winder on trailer

The Upcom Cable Fleeter is a cable winder on trailer that replaces the manual handling of very large cable length and gives extra protection and security to the cable. Following deployment of the cable in the first length of cable duct, the remaining part of the cable is taken from the drum and stored into the cable winder. You then has the other end of the cable ready for blowing into the second length of cable duct.

Cable Fleeter enables a smooth working process while assuring the cable is not damaged from traffic on the pedestrian or from vehicles, and it prevents that the cable is contaminated with soil or dust.

Cable Fleeter is built to operate with a cable blowing machine, which delivers the cable to and from the Cable Fleeter.

The unit can hold 3.000 meters of 13 mm cable, allowing a cable drum lengths of 6.000 meters to be utilized.

Cable Fleeter is made on a road going trailer chassis on which is mounted a cable storage cassette, rotating cable guide quadrant and duct clamp assembly.
