Comfort Pig – Rotating Pig Scratching Brush

The Comfort Pig rotating brush for pigs from Comfy-Solutions is an angled, rotating brush that has been specially developed for pigs. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and extra long brush shaft, places that are difficult to reach for the pig can be brushed with ease. The brush has two directions of rotation and each time it starts up, it turns in the opposite direction. The brush is triggered by the pig moving it up or down and will continue turning for a long time after start-up to allow effortless brushing of the animal. An additional advantage is that the brush keeps on turning once the animal has moved away. This will increase the interest for another animal to start brushing.

Comfy-Solutions has used this experience to develop a special pig brush together with a number of pig farmers. The robust design takes into account the environment in which the brush has to work. Installation • Prepared for both pipe and wall installation

All Comfy-Solutions’ pig brushes are ready to use upon delivery and are very easily assembled in any barn. Due to the well-thought-out wall plate with pre-drilled holes, the pig brushes can be mounted on any post. In addition, the pig brushes can also be attached to a wall by using the optional mounting bracket.

Safety

Comfy-Solutions’ rotating brushes are all equipped with an overload safety device. This will stop the brush if the resistance is too high or in case of excessive heat. This guarantees the safety of you, your animal and your environment.

① High-tech control system

The control system is measuring the position of the brush via a gravity sensor. The intelligent software ensures the brush can be switched on and off effortlessly and smoothly.

② Brushless 24VDC motor

The motor is maintenance-free and thanks to its high efficiency, it consumes little power compared to 230V motors.

③ Reliable transmission

The transmission transfers the torque from the motor to the brush. Thanks to a safety device in the printed circuit board, there is never too much torque on the brush, so cows and their tails remain safe.
