Description
AUTEL • Automobile battery and electrical system analysis tools MaxiBAS BT506
The AUTEL MaxiBAS BT506 is a professional-grade battery and electrical system analysis tool designed for technicians. It uses Autel’s Adaptive Conductance technology to deliver accurate measurements of cold cranking ability and reserve capacity. The BT506 allows both in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle testing of 6-volt and 12-volt batteries rated from 100 to 2000 CCA, and supports testing of flooded, AGM, AGM Spiral, EFB and GEL battery types. It connects via Bluetooth to compatible Autel MaxiSYS tablets or mobile app, and supports industry-recognized rating standards like CCA, SAE, EN, IEC, DIN, JIS and MCA.
Key benefits
- Tests battery state of health (SOH), state of charge (SOC), cold cranking amps, and reserve capacity with high accuracy using Adaptive Conductance technology.
- Supports a wide range of battery types (Flooded, AGM, Spiral AGM, EFB, Gel) and global rating standards (CCA, CA, SAE, EN, IEC, DIN, JIS, MCA).
- Capability to perform starter (cranking) and charging (generator/alternator) system diagnostics while in-vehicle.
- Compact design with low working current (<150 mA), USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity supports flexible workflow with tablets or smartphones.
- Operates over a broad temperature range (−10 °C to 50 °C), with storage capability from −20 °C to 60 °C.
